For Senior DJ Burton art is more than just a hobby, it’s something he’s been passionate about for years. He started drawing a lot in 6th grade and has been hooked on creating new pieces ever since. “I think I really started realizing in my sophomore and junior years that this could actually go somewhere for me.” says Burton. He finds inspiration in friends and in the little things such as just people on the street or at school. In this exclusive Sounslides interview, DJ confesses, “Art has changed my life because it’s helped me understand a lot of things that didn’t necessarily make sense before.”
