And they told me they would have to call my parents and expell me for a couple of days. I almost started crying I didn’t think I had been mean to anybody and I was freaking out. Then he told me to go wait in his office while he called my parents. So I went in his office and Charlie turned around in his chair and was like “homecoming!” and i said “oh i hate you!”. But it was very clever but almost gave me a heartattack.

A: Junior year…well I dance super far out like 30 minutes away and so when I came out of dance Charlie White was standing there with a big sign and it said “Brooke, can I ask you a question?” And I just thought he was going to ask me to homecoming. And I walked up and he flipped it over and it said “Can I have a ride home?” And I was like “hey whatcha doing here? How’d you get all of the way out here?” He told me his mom had dropped him off and he needed a ride home and I mean I told him sure. So then the whole way home we didn’t really mention it, it was just kind of weird. Then when we got to his house he was just kind of like “okay thanks, see ya.” And then he walked up and opened his garage door and there was just like a huge banner and flowers and lights. It was just so funny and weird; we were driving home the whole  was and I kept thinking to myself “are you gonna ask me now? Or tell me to turn somewhere?”.
