There are three pep assemblies per year for fall, winter and spring sports. They take place on even block days during seminar and last about 30 minutes. Pep assemblies are planned and facilitated by members of the pep club, who meet every Tuesday morning before school. Anywhere between one and four months can go in planning an assembly.

Pep assemblies are held in the gym and generally start with announcements from the pep club presidents about the upcoming sports season, followed by a comical relay or context between varsity players of each team. Then, both the cheerleaders and the lancer dancers do a routine. Finally, the classic competition between the classes to win the coveted spirit stick. Pep assemblies are always closed with the school song, led by the marching band as students, staff and parents alike join together to sing.
