With two tournaments left, boys’ golf looks to make school history. Meanwhile, the Lancers softball team looks to break a three game losing streak, while the girls soccer team defeated St. Theresa’s Academy in one of their best performances of the year. The track and field team competed in KU Relays this weekend, while baseball struggled in Lawrence. Boys’ lacrosse came off a disappointing loss to Rockhurst last week and the softball team is set for senior night tonight. See what else you missed last week in East sports here.
Athletes Qualify for 86th Annual KU Relays
This weekend 16 student athletes from East will be competing in the 86th annual Kansas University Relays at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kansas. The Lancer team going is made up of six girls and 10 boys.

Spring Training Affected by Weather
With the two snow storms, it caused the majority of the spring sports to start later normal. Many teams have had to practice in gymnasiums indoors, others in parking lots Also, some track meets, tennis matches and soccer games have had to be rescheduled.
