The girls’ soccer team will play Blue Valley North in the regional finals on Friday, May 17 after beating Shawnee Mission North 4-0. Senior Addison Steiner scored two goals and became the second most all-time goal scorer in a season with 23 goals.

The Lancers tied in double overtime with the Olathe South Falcons 4-4. They won the Sunflower League title even with the tie because of Olathe East’s loss to Shawnee Mission South Tuesday night.

With the two snow storms, it caused the majority of the spring sports to start later normal. Many teams have had to practice in gymnasiums indoors, others in parking lots Also, some track meets, tennis matches and soccer games have had to be rescheduled.
