Fall Sports Update: Week 9
Volleyball and gymnastics finished out their seasons, while soccer begins their journey in the playoffs and football looks to bounce back from a tough loss against West.

Girls’ Tennis and Golf Win 6A State
The Lancers’ are off to a good start in the fall sports postseason, sweeping both girls’ tennis and golf state titles in two days.
Fall Sports Update: Week 8
The Lady Lancers took state tennis, the football team won the first game of districts and the soccer team is looking to clinch league.
Fall Sports Update: Week 7
Football was delivered their first loss Saturday at Lawrence Freestate, while girls’ golf won regionals tonight and boys’ soccer continues their winning streak.
Fall Sports Update: Week 6
This week the boys’ soccer kept their season rolling defeating two teams 10-0. With that, the girls’ tennis team won the Sunflower League, and football looks to stay undefeated tonight.

Fall Sports Update: Week 4
Lancer athletics had an exciting week between a victory over Olathe North and a strong team showing at the Topeka West Invitational.
Fall Sports Update: Week 3
Last night, the Lancers defeated Olathe North for the first time since 1985, in a lopsided 30-7 game. The boys’ soccer team also won 3-0, earning a spot in the finals of the KAMO Varsity soccer tournament. The boys’ will play Blue Valley North, this Saturday, 2:30 at Blue Valley District Athletic Complex.
Fall Sports Update: Week 2
The boys’ soccer team had their annual Black and Blue scrimmage to kick off the season, putting on a good show with a 5-1 win over JV. Football kicks off Friday against SM South. The cross country team also had trials and will be looking for underclassmen to fill the shoes of a large class of seniors that graduated in the Spring.
Fall Sports Update: Week 1
With the blue and black scrimmage set for 6:30 tonight, here’s a look at the 2012 Lancers. Coach Chip Sherman’s first four-year class heads into their senior season with high expectations, due in large part to highly-touted senior transfer Jordan Darling. Darling, a four-star recruit from Texas, is the highest rated football prospect East has ever had and has already committed to play quarterback for KU next year. His addition has made the Lancers a dark horse competitor for state.
