The Categories team placed third in the local competition between Blue Valley and Shawnee Mission schools. After losing to Blue Valley in the semi-finales last week, the Categories team continued on to the consolation match determining third and fourth place.
The Lancers beat the Wichita East squad 53-41 in the first game of the State championship tournament. East students gathered at Johnny’s Tavern to watch the game together.
