Orchestra Collage Concert

Performing in the Spring of 2009, the Orchestra performed a medley of some of their greatest songs from recent years. It was performed at Shawnee Mission West due to East construction, but the musicians were strong nonetheless, as displayed in this complete video of their performance.

Symphonic Orchestra

Symphonic- The largest and most competitive orchestra at East. This orchestra is dedicated to more experienced and talented musicians, both under and upperclassmen. Musicians must audition with Mr. Lane in order to become a part of Symphonic.

Philharmonic Orchestra

Philharmonic- With only 15 members this year, Philharmonic is the smallest orchestra. It is reserved for upperclassmen only, and musicians must audition with Mr. Lane. Because of the small number of performers, this group contains only cello, violin and viola players. Some of their pieces this year include the last movement of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, [...]

Concert Orchestra

Concert- This orchestra is dedicated to incoming freshman and underclassmen performers.
