SME Jazz Band-Blue Knights and Blue Notes
Two of Kansas’ best jazz bands reside in the new music rooms at Shawnee Mission East. Under the direction of Kim Harrison, the Notes, the lower jazz band, and the Knights, the upper jazz band, strive for the best at Essential Ellington and at the Baker Jazz Festival.
