We have been conned.
Conned into thinking that we all need to look like Gisele or Gigi. Conned into thinking that skipping one meal will make up for the cake we ate last night. Conned into thinking that skipping a few more will allow us to control the voices that tell us that our stomachs aren’t flat enough, our hips aren’t narrow enough and our faces don’t glow enough. We have been conned into thinking that we aren’t enough.
But most of all, we have been conned into thinking that it’s OK to believe these things.
