Blue Chip Cookie: a sweet tooth heaven for sugar lovers like me. Even though going to Town Center isn’t my ideal drive as it is far away from my house, Blue Chip was definitely worth the trip. I walked into the little shop with the blue letters printed above the door on a Monday evening, and I was warmly welcomed by the two workers behind the counter. As soon as I walked in, my eyes were instantly drawn to array of sugary cookies in the front display case.

They had everything from chocolate chip macadamia to peanut butter cookies to sugar cookies and everything in between. It was a hard decision, but I decided to try the iced sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles as well as a classic chocolate chip cookie because of the good reviews I had heard on both of them.

While sitting at one of the glossy white tables enjoying my cookies, I noticed that the bright yellow walls and the navy blue ceiling were partly lined with illuminating light blue lights. It was a warm and comforting ambiance that could make a person forget about the massive calorie and sugar intake the cookies come with. I took my first bite into the sugar cookie and was instantly in love. The icing was fluffy and not too sugary, and the cookie was super soft – always a plus. I took a bite into my second cookie, the chocolate chip, which had to be one of the best chocolate chip cookies I had ever had. That says a lot, considering the fact that I’ve most likely eaten more cookies than the average 17-year-old in their lifetime. The cookie was cooked perfectly not too soft and not too crunchy with the perfect amount of sweetness.

Blue Chip offers more sweet treats, including cookie cakes, Blue Bunny ice cream and root beer floats. They also make ice cream sandwiches, where the customer picks two cookies of choice and whichever ice cream flavor they desire. I decided to get Moose Tracks between two perfectly baked chocolate chips cookies.

The ice cream sandwich could barely fit in my mouth, but once I finally got a bite, it was a delicious burst of flavors. The vanilla ice cream swirled with fudge and peanut butter cups mixed in went perfectly between the two light brown chocolate chip cookies.

Leaving with a full, satisfied stomach, Blue Chip Cookie made for a superb dessert stop. After my tasty, affordable experience I will definitely be going back to Blue Chip Cookie as soon as possible.
